Walnut Grove Elementary School is a public, K-5 school in Walnut Grove, Georgia, in  Walton County, with a school population of approximately 525 students for the 2012-2013 school year.  We are accredited through the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Accrediting Commission, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  We are a Title I Distinguished School. The school is located on Highway 81 SW in the southwest portion of Walton County, approximately three miles from Newton County and four miles from Rockdale County.  We are a Learning Focused School dedicated to student achievement. We have a Strong Parent-Teacher Organization as well a strong, dedicated staff; low staff turnover creating a harmonious climate for each member of our school family.
